September 3rd, ‘24 Writing Update.

Book Ch. 4 and a broken camera.

Been trying tonight to record and edit a fresh Writing Update. My phone's camera isn't recording video, which is super weird. Its even set to video. It only downloads audio to my PC. It might be due to some random issue it started having last month: my camera won't zoom past 1.0x for anything. Even video.

Jiggling it to sort of activate it gets it to zoom in. Its so weird like... what? Yeah, it still won't save the video. Only the audio.

Alas, the cover photo to this piece was taken before the issues arose.

In the meantime, the details of that Update:

1) I sometimes am too worn out to make another video. I work full-time. Often I only want to write and not make a video.

2) Social life gets busy. Which is not a bad thing.

3) Career coaching! I am figuring out my future with help of a career coach. She's been helpful in me narrowing down my ideas for a writing career.

4) I worked on an indie game in July! I help polish the script to a platformer, this neat little sci-fi game. I don't know when it launches. Give it a look:

5) The novel's Chapter 4 is getting a pretty decent amount of revision. Happens to be one of my favorite chapters. There are core elements that just aren't telling the story as they should. So I am fixing those up.

Maybe by next time I will have this recording issue fixed up. Until then :)
